After last year's successful run of pre-printed answer sheets via TR, I just don't understand the need to complicate things. Absolutely no need to require a pre-admin session - TR proved that last year.
From Section IV-B (page 5) of the Pilot Contract -
For those AP examinees whose data and exam orders are submitted by November 1, the College Board will provide pilot schools with individualized answer sheets for every student in lieu of the blank bulk sheets currently shipped. During the AP exam administration, additional information will need to be bubbled on the answer sheet by participating Students. AP Coordinators are encouraged to conduct a pre-administration session to aid in this task.

Pre-administration sessions have not been successful at our school. Even though we offer both before and after school sessions, a handful of students forget or just don't show up, and they have to be tracked down and given a session during the school day. Sessions usually have over 100 students, so it is very difficult to give individual guidance through the process. We can't expect AP teachers to conduct sessions during class time, since not all of their students take the exams.
