Schools registering for PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, and School-Day SAT (also known as the SAT Suite) can now use RegiSmart to collect the required data by the College Board and easily download a .csv file to upload to the SAT Suite Ordering and Registration (SSOR) for digital exams.
When creating the registration event in RegiSmart, simply choose the Registration Type you are registering, PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, or School Day SAT, from the drop-down menu on the Block Details tab. These are the only registration types that will work with generating the data file you will upload to the SSOR. Do not remove any of the information blocks Student, Parent, and School Student Attends as they are required to generate the data file. If you remove any of these blocks, the system cannot generate the data file required for SSOR.
NOTE: For schools that have done these exams in RegiSmart.net in the past, do NOT copy a registration from a previous year. Click Add Registration Form to begin a new registration event.
The Student, Parent/Guardian, and School Student Attends information blocks will automatically appear under the Choose Registration Type menu and must remain in place. Other blocks on the right side of the screen can be dragged over as needed. All the data from the student and student and parent profiles (that the family entered when activating their accounts) will be attached to the registration. This is the data TR will use to generate the data file
Continue through the remaining tabs and configure the restrictions, fees, cancellation policy, etc to complete the registration event.
Check to ensure that all the required data is being asked by the system. This is done at Configuration => Configure Student Information:
Don't forget that the College Board requires the student's date of birth in the data file, so you will want to make that required.
